Build a $1,000,000 Sustainability Fund
In ten short years, Zack's Place budget has grown from less than $20,000 to over $300,000. We are thrilled with the growth of our enrichment center as we continue to provide diverse programming to all of our participants free of charge. In fact, we now have over 80 participants each week; some who come all day, every day, and some who come for their favorite programs.We are also proud to report that 71 cents of every dollar raised is spent on programming. We are truly thankful to our donors who have so generously contributed in the past. Indeed, our Capital Campaign in 2014, raised $442,000 and enabled us to buy the building in which our center is located. In as much as our funding depends solely on grants, annual giving and our fundraising activities, your support is much needed.
We recently launched a "Sustainability Campaign" to insure our strong financial foundation for years to come and future generations. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 over the next several years. The "quiet phase" of the campaign raised $300,000 with a public kick off announced at a cocktail reception on May 4, 2018. We now need your help to keep the momentum going. Please consider making a contribution to our Sustainability Fund. This is a long term campaign and bequests, contributions from 401K's, and donations of appreciated stock might be something to consider in your estate or tax planning. We greatly appreciate all contributions and hope that you will take a moment to reflect on helping us to achieve this most important goal.
